The table compares of the expenditure on food/drinks/tobacco
(category A), clothing/footwear (category B) and leisure/education (category C)
by 5 countries in 2002. Overall, all countries listed spent the most on
category A at around 15%-30%, the second most on category B at around 5%-9%,
and the least on category C at just around 1%-5%.
Looking at category A, Turkey spent the most on it at
32.14%, followed by Ireland (28.91%), Spain (18.80%), Italy (16.36%) and Sweden
(15.77%). While for category B, Italy remarked the highest spending on this category at
9%, followed by Turkey (6.63%), Spain (6.51%), Ireland (6.43%) and Sweden
(5.40%). For category C, Turkey had the highest expenses on this section at

Despite their similar rank of favorites (category
A>B>C), apparently by countries all saw different ranks on each category
mentioned. For instance, Turkey which was the highest spenders on category A
and C but, it was
the third on category B. Italy was the highest consumers of on category B but was the fourth[ieltsblog4] on category A and the third on category C.
Others seem to follow
