behaviour problems-IELTS essay task 1, band 6.5/7 (complex tables)



The tables illustrates the attitude problem levels in schools in the UK in 1996 and 2009. The data are shown in the percentage of teachers encountered the problems more than one time per week. Overall, in both years, the highest rate of problematic attitude was talking out of turn (56-89) and the least was of physical abuse towards teachers (2-11).

Obviously, it shows that verbal and physical abuse toward others (2-21 in 1996 to 9-52 in 2009)) had significantly smaller rates than that those of personal attitude issues(44-69 in 1996 and 59-89 in 2009) like making noises.

Although so, it It also shows that the increase in abusing the figure for any type of abuse towards others was more significant compared to that of personal attitude problems. Essentially, in the personal issues, the rise was less than half of the initial rates in 1996(for example, in making noise, the rate was from 52 to 59 in primary schools and from 49 to 62 in secondary schools). Whereas in However, in regard to abusing attitudes the rise was all more than double of the initial rates. For instance, verbal abuse toward teacher had 6 times increase in primary schools (from 3 to 19) and it had 3 times increase in secondary schools (from 7 to 23).

The candidate has analyzed the table charts well. The main features have been identified well and explained coherently. Paragraphing of the report is fine. However, errors related to grammar and sentence structures are distracting at times. Nevertheless, the report meets the expectations.
